Workshop Title: Modernizing Manufacturing Systems and Their Operation - The Role of System Integrators and Introduction to Ignition Software Description: Manufacturing professionals can learn how to help their company succeed in modernizing manufacturing systems through this one-day workshop at Trident Technical College, focusing on the role of system integrators, particularly Ignition Software, in their digital transformation. This hands-on workshop includes sessions on Networked Manufacturing Systems, Introduction to Ignition Software, Building Digital Dashboards, and AI/Machine Learning in Modernizing Manufacturing Systems. Know about smart and digital manufacturing systems and a general framework for implementing such systems. ⢠Introduction to Ignition Software: Learn about Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and how to install, configure, and utilize Ignition software to build basic digital tools. ⢠Building Digital Dashboards: Hands-on activities will take you through creating custom dashboards that visualize real-time data and integrate seamlessly with manufacturing systems. ⢠AI/ML in Modernizing Manufacturing Systems: Experts from Clemson University will share practical applications of artificial intelligence and machine learning to enhance manufacturing processes, including process control and quality monitoring. This workshop is ideal for manufacturing employees, engineers, and professionals looking to understand the practical aspects of Industry 4.0 technologies and find the starting point for modernizing their systems and operations.
