No! We have one simple scholarship application for you to complete. We will then take your information and find all the scholarships for which you are eligible This means you don't have to worry about completing multiple applications or even figuring out which scholarships you should apply for, saving you both time and energy!
The current application is for the 2026 - 2027 academic year. The scholarships can be used for Fall 2026 and/or Spring 2027 (with a few being available for Summer 2027).
Yes! The majority of our scholarships are available to students in any program. There are other scholarships that are designated for specific programs of study or have other requirements.
Yes, dual enrollment students are eligible to apply and must meet the minimum criteria the same as other TTC Students (2.0 GPA minimum, etc.)
No! While some specific scholarships might have higher GPA requirements, the vast majority of our scholarships require a 2.0 GPA.
While it's not an absolute requirement to complete the FAFSA for our scholarships, we do highly recommend it. Some scholarships have a requirement for financial need, which we cannot calculate unless you have completed the FAFSA. Plus, completing the FAFSA gives you the opportunity for much more financial assistance from TTC. Learn more & get help with the FAFSA here (see Step 2).
Yes, we still recommend applying. Even though your tuition and, in some cases, books, may be covered by other scholarships or funds, you can still use one of our scholarships.
After ALL TTC charges are paid, if you get one of the TTC Foundation scholarships, you could end up with a credit balance on your student account. That amount could later be refunded by TTC after the appropriate drop/add period for that semester. That would allow you to use the funds for other materials for your program (tools, kits, scrubs, etc.) that you might need help with.
**NOTE - the TTC Foundation does not issue refunds or have any control over when those funds are release. No scholarships will be paid to students directly and will instead be paid to a student's account with TTC.
There are 14 scholarships that require an essay to be eligible, so if you want a chance to get those, you will need to complete an essay.
If you don't, there are still over 115 scholarships that you could qualify for without doing anything extra.
It is highly recommended that you do give it a shot, though! Read the criteria in Part 3 of the application for each of the essays, and if you meet those, it's worth it to make the extra effort. We get very few essay submissions, so your odds of being selected may be higher.
See all essay criteria and topics HERE.
On the application, f you choose "YES" for one of the scholarships that require an essay, you will receive a separate email for each essay you were interested in doing.
In that email, it will show you the requirements again, as well as a link to this etrieve form where you can submit the essay (you will need to log in using your TTC student email and password).
You can only submit 1 essay per etrieve form, so if you are doing multiple essays, you will submit a new form for each.
See all essay criteria and topics HERE.
Our scholarships are awarded based on criteria established by the donor, which may include: financial need, GPA, program of study, community service, and/or essay submission.
Applications are evaluated by a scholarship selection committee comprised of TTC faculty and staff as well as TTC Foundation Trustees.
For scholarships requiring an essay, they are scored numerically based on content, grammar and spelling. Each essay is scored by three reviewers and the scores are averaged to get a final score.
Awards will be made in early August 2026 before the Fall semester begins. Be sure to keep an eye on your TTC student email for notification. We also send a text to students when the award emails go out to help.
It's easy to accept your scholarship! In your award email, we'll include a link to this etrieve form (you will need to log in using your TTC student email and password).
- Enter your first and last name (your student ID will automatically be filled in).
- Select the scholarship you were offered from the dropdown list.
- Click a box to agree to the terms of your scholarship award.
- Attach a PDF of a thank you letter for the scholarship donor.
Important: If you are a high school senior planning to attend TTC after graduation, you must complete the following steps before you can access the scholarship application:
