The Trident Technical College (TTC) Foundation and the Culinary Institute of Charleston hosted the 22nd annual A Night in the Valley dinner and live auction fundraiser on Friday, Jan. 30, 2026. This premier event, held at the College Center on the college’s Thornley Campus, brought together over 500 guests, including community leaders, alumni and supporters, for an evening of celebration and philanthropy. This year, A Night in the Valley raised more than $530,000. Net proceeds from the event will directly benefit students through scholarships and the Student Urgent Needs Fund.
The event featured a five-star dining experience crafted by students and faculty of the Culinary Institute of Charleston, with live and silent auctions, all aimed at raising funds to support TTC students. This spectacular event would not have been possible without the generous support of sponsors and donors. Notable sponsors included The InterTech Group, platinum sponsor, and Shumaker, dignitary sponsor.
"We are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support from our community," said Dr. Lisa Piccolo, executive director of the TTC Foundation. "The generosity of our sponsors and attendees ensures that we can continue to provide vital resources and meaningful opportunities for our students, empowering them to succeed and thrive."
