Dual Credit Online Application
We are now accepting applications for Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 enrollment. Apply now to secure your spot in classes!
To enroll at Trident Technical College:
- High school students must have the permission of a parent/guardian and school counselor, principal, or home school association, and qualifying test scores on the SAT, ACT, or TTC ACCUPLACER Placement Test.
- Adult Education students must have the permission of a counselor or administrator from their Adult Education program and qualifying test scores on the SAT, ACT, or TTC ACCUPLACER Placement Test.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

- Create an account on Apply Now and complete the online application.
- Select “HS Student Taking Coll Courses” as your student type to access Dual Enrollment program options:
- Dual Credit: earn high school credit and college credit
- Early Admit: earn college credit only
- Adult Education-Dual Enrollment: for adult students who are still in high school or attending an adult education program
- Once you have completed and submitted your application, you will be able to view any supplemental items needed and monitor your application status through your Apply Now account.
To complete your admission requirements, sign back into your Apply Now account and go to the Supplemental Items tab to submit the following documents:
- Dual Enrollment Permission Form (link to PDF)– Must be signed by student, parent/guardian (if under 18 year of age and still in high school), and school counselor, principal or home school association representative
- Unofficial copies of qualifying SAT, ACT or TTC ACCUPLACER scores, or alternative placement
- Letter of Exceptional Ability (ONLY if required)
- NOTE: If you are a 9th or 10th grade student, you will be required to submit a letter of exceptional ability.
- This letter must be on official school letterhead and signed by high school counselor, principal, or home school association.
PLEASE NOTE:
Incomplete applications will not be processed. Please verify completion of all sections of the online application AND verify that you have submitted all required documents (permission form, test scores/placement, etc.) via the Supplemental Items tab of your Apply Now account.
If you are NOT a U.S. Citizen, please contact the Dual Enrollment Admissions Coordinator at 843-574-6424 or Madison.Clarke@tridenttech.edu. You will still provide your application through the Apply Now site, but you may be required to submit additional documentation to prove your legal status in the U.S.
